সৃষ্টিকর্তার অশেষ কৃপায় এবং গভীর গর্বের সঙ্গে আমি ফিরে তাকাই বটমলী হোম বালিকা উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের গৌরবময় যাত্রাপথের দিকে।
১৯৪৬ সালে দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধ-পরবর্তী সময়ে অনাথ ও সুবিধাবঞ্চিত কন্যাশিশুদের শিক্ষার আলো পৌঁছে দেওয়ার মহৎ উদ্দেশ্যে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল এই বিদ্যালয়। সেই মহান উদ্দেশ্যকে কেন্দ্র করে আজ আমরা প্রায় ৮০ বছরের একটি ইতিহাস গড়ে তুলেছি।
এই বিদ্যালয় শুধু পাঠ্যবইয়ের জ্ঞানেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়; এটি ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে নৈতিকতা, নেতৃত্বের গুণাবলি, মানবিক মূল্যবোধ এবং সমাজসেবার আদর্শ গড়ে তোলে। আমাদের শিক্ষার্থীরা প্রতিনিয়ত নিজ নিজ জীবনে সফল হয়ে সমাজে অবদান রেখে চলেছে—এটাই আমাদের সবচেয়ে বড় অর্জন।
আমাদের শত শত প্রাক্তন ছাত্রী আজ সমাজের নানা স্তরে প্রতিষ্ঠিত। তারা এই প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষার আলো বহন করে চলেছে, যা আমাদের জন্য গর্বের বিষয়।
এই ৮০ বছরের সাফল্যগাথা শুধু অতীত স্মরণ নয়, বরং এটি আমাদের সামনে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার প্রেরণা। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি “Unending Grace”—অর্থাৎ সৃষ্টিকর্তার অন্তহীন কৃপা আমাদের পথচলায় পথপ্রদর্শক হবে।
আসুন, আমরা সবাই একসঙ্গে হাতে হাত রেখে এই শিক্ষা আন্দোলনকে আরও সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাই।

It is with immense pride and heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty that I reflect upon the glorious journey of Bottomley Home Girls' High School—an institution born in 1946 out of a noble mission to bring light and learning to orphaned and underprivileged girls in the post-World War II era.
For nearly eight decades, this school has stood as a beacon of hope and empowerment for girls, not just in Tejgaon, Dhaka, but across the nation. We have remained deeply committed to nurturing young minds through quality education, moral values, leadership training, and a strong foundation of social responsibility.
The legacy of our institution is best reflected in the countless accomplished alumnae who are now contributing to society with dignity and distinction. Their achievements are a testament to the vision, dedication, and tireless efforts of our founders, educators, and well-wishers throughout the years.
As we celebrate 80 years of excellence, we also look forward—with unwavering faith in the grace of God, or as we say, Unending Grace. With renewed spirit, we remain devoted to building confident, compassionate, and capable young women who will shape a better tomorrow.
Let us continue this journey together—with purpose, with pride, and with prayer.
